How often should you use Marc Pro Plus?

You can use the LOW setting of Marc Pro Plus as often as you’d like. Most people use it 4-6 times a week, but there is no limit. For best results, we recommend using it after workouts, or at least sometime within that day before you go to bed. Usage will vary depending on how much recovery you need, but we recommend using the device at least 3 times a week.

The HIGH setting of Marc Pro Plus can be used daily – 30 to 60 minutes at a time. How often you use it will depend on how much pain you are experiencing.

How long should a session be?

Our recommendation is to use the LOW setting of Marc Pro Plus for at least 30-60 minutes. However, you can use the unit as long as you need to achieve even greater results. We always suggest going longer if possible.

The HIGH setting can be used for 30-60 minutes at a time. After 60 minutes of use, the HIGH setting of the Marc Pro Plus will provide 1-4 hours of pain relief after the pads have been taken off. To avoid skin irritation, we recommend taking a break after 60 minutes. If pain persists, you can use it again later in the day.

Do I need to follow the user manual?

Not exactly. The pad placements in the user manual are great starting points and address the most common problem areas. But, you can move the pads to target any muscle or muscle group you prefer using the LOW setting. The goal is to make sure there is still a significant muscle contraction in the muscle area you are trying to recover. Just make sure to still adhere to any contraindications.

With the HIGH setting, there is some flexibility to moving the pads. However, you want to make sure to keep this setting for your joints and back. Within those parameters you can move the pads to target the painful area, but we don’t suggest using the HIGH setting on muscles other than the back.
